FOUNDER
The Conscious Collective is a social advocacy organization that was born from years of trying to make ethical corporate gifting easier for large organizations. Our mission is to create a trusted online community that introduces corporate gift buyers to local and unique small, diversely-led and ethical makers. We celebrate our clients who "Gift on purpose" and instill meaning into their client and employee gifting experience. The Collective is an Upside Foundation Pledge Member and donates 1% of profit to social and environmental impact charities.
SEMI ANNUAL TREE PLANTING
I LOVE TREES! We know that trees enrich our lives with both healthful and emotional benefits, but most importantly, they are key sequesters of carbon emissions. That's why every spring and summer we gather volunteers to plant a minimum of 125 trees in areas of need in and around Toronto.
Our next planting is in the Spring - Date to be announced.
BUILDING A ZEN GETAWAY IN THE AZORES
Late 2019, I bought a property right beside the house where my father was born in, on the island of Sao Miguel. It is a complete tear down, but because it's a historical property and our project coincided with the pandemic, we have not broken ground. But we are ready with designs as soon the government announces the tourism support program. We are targeting a project completion in 2025.
